Touchdrawn combines football action with drawing-based strategy. Your goal is to draw a clear route that guides your player across the field and toward the goal. Plan your path carefully to avoid defenders and obstacles, then use special objects to gain helpful effects. Draw your route and lead your team to the goal!
DRAWING-BASED GAMEPLAY MECHANICS
Touchdrawn puts you in the role of a true tactical coach, who controls players sprinting across the field. You need to click and drag on the field to sketch custom paths for your offensive players before or during the play. Route your runners away from incoming defenders, using field space, blockers, and sharp turns to avoid getting tackled. You have to navigate past all field obstacles, hazardous zones, and linebacker tackles to land in the end zone for a touchdown.
How to Trick Opposing Defenders
- Baiting: Draw a straight path toward the defender to lure them out, then make a sharp turn in the opposite direction to throw them off balance.
- Screening: Draw a running path close to rocks or spike traps. The chasing defender will crash into the obstacle and be brought to a halt.
- Distraction: Use a player without the ball to draw a path across the crowd to draw attention. The player with the ball will then sneak away via a roundabout route on the opposite wing.
- Zigzag Running: Draw a continuous zigzag path. Sudden changes of direction will disrupt the AI’s tracking algorithm, causing it to slow down.
