HOW TO PLAY FIRST AND TEN
First and Ten combines passing, running, and season progression in a classic American football setting. Players begin by selecting a game mode and difficulty level before entering a match. The main goal is to move the ball effectively and win games throughout the season.
- Passing requires the left mouse button: You click and hold the button to prepare a pass, then release it to send the ball toward the chosen target.
- Running uses side-to-side swiping: You can move the ball carrier across the field and look for open space. Starred players provide increased speed and power, which can make them useful during important plays.
Winning seasons also affects progression. Successful seasons help players rank up and move toward the GOAT rank, giving the game a longer-term progression system beyond individual matches.
Tournament System and Progress
- Facing off against 32 teams: Season Mode places you on a realistic simulated league map where you’ll compete against 32 teams representing different cities.
- Rank progression: You will climb the career ladder from Rookie to GOAT (eight levels in total).
- Team upgrades: After each win, you accumulate rewards to upgrade your team's stats, making your players faster, more accurate shooters, and stronger defenders over time.
